Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from Chinese Party and State Leaders

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, and Pak Pong Ju, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, received a reply message from Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, president of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and chairman of the Central Military Commission of the PRC, Li Keqiang, premier of the State Council of the PRC, and Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the PRC, on Tuesday.

The message said:

We express sincere thanks for your warm congratulations on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the PRC.

We believe that the traditional Sino-DPRK relations of friendship and cooperation would steadily grow stronger by the common efforts of the parties, governments and peoples of the two countries under the new situation in the new period.
