KCTU Launches Sit-in Strike

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a press conference in Seoul Square on Monday and declared it would launch a sit-in strike in demand of the withdrawal of the unpopular policy, according to the south Korean KBS.

The KCTU denounced the Park Geun Hye's regime for not honoring the election commitments on improving people's livelihood.

It is the suppression of the labor movement to force the Teachers' Union to expel the dismissed from it, in particular, the organization said.

It expressed the will to continue the struggle for people's life, democracy and basic rights of workers.
