The first vice-president said that he is pleased to see the Korean people registering successes in different fields under the leadership of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

He expressed his conviction that the Korean people will overcome difficulties in the near future although the world powers headed by the U.S. pressurize the DPRK. He reaffirmed Iran's support for the peaceful and independent stand of the DPRK.

He said that the government of Iran attaches great importance to the development of the relations with the DPRK and hopes that the relations between the two countries will grow stronger in all aspects and peace and security be guaranteed on the Korean Peninsula.
