WPK's Birth Anniversary Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries on October 4 and 5 on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). They included meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows by the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, the Switzerland-Korea Committee, the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the France-Korea Friendship Association. On display in the venues of the events were photos dealing with the Songun revolutionary exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also displayed there were books and photos introducing the real picture of the DPRK dynamically advancing under the banner of Songun. Films shown included Korean film "Pyongyang at Night". The chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy and other speakers highly praised the history of the WPK founded by Kim Il Sung as the glorious one which made a great contribution to turning the DPRK into a socialist power and realizing the human cause of independence. The chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee said that the WPK turned the DPRK into a prosperous and independent socialist power under the leadership of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. He stressed that the party and the people of the DPRK would build a thriving nation and realize the cause of national reunification without fail as they are led by Kim Jong Un who has successfully carried forward and developed the idea and cause of the great Generalissimos. The president of the France-Korea Friendship Association highly praised the Generalissimos for performing the immortal exploits in party-building, adding that their precious lives will remain alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the progressive mankind. A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Switzerland. |
