They beat the south Korean team 3:1 in 16 superstar tournament, the Japanese team 3:2 in quarterfinals, the Chinese team 4:3 in the semi-finals and advanced into the final.

At the fierce and close final game with the south Korean players on Friday the DPRK's pair defeated the rivals 4:3, winning the first place.

Another pair Kim Nam Chol and Kim Hye Song took the third place in the mixed doubles.

And the DPRK took the second place in the 10-meter men's air pistol event.

Jo Chol Sok took the second place in men's 60 kg category of Wushu Sanshu and Yun Song Sil the third place in women's 52 kg category event.

Kim Jin Ok and Kim Un Hyang bagged silver medals in women's pair 10 meter platform diving and Kim Jin Hyang and Kim Jin Ok bronze medals in women's pair 3 meter springboard diving.

Pak Kum Hyang took the third place in women's 3 000 m hurdle race.
