He also comprehensively laid out the tasks for drastically improving the education in the schools and ways for doing so.

The revolutionary schools bear witness for the noble revolutionary sense of obligation and warm love for posterity shown by the great persons of Mt. Now the students of the schools are growing up to be lifeguards in the Songun era fully equipped with tradition of loyalty and the spirit of devotedly defending the leader, invariable revolutionary faith and faithful sense of obligation. They are being trained to be genuine patriots of the Songun era and persons of conscience who have collectivism and beautiful morality and thoroughly embody Kim Jong Il's patriotism in practice. It is a great pride of the Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK that the children of revolutionary martyrs are growing up to be the able and versatile talents, backbones of the Songun revolution, being possessed of the latest scientific and technical knowledge, basic military knowledge and the ability to put them into effective use as well as rich emotion and cultural attainments.
