Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in an article in this regard: The warmongers claim the military exercises are aimed to cope with "threat" and "provocation" from the DPRK. This is a shameless assertion falsifying reality which reminds one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!" It is a whopping lie intended to conceal their despicable true colors as the disturber of peace and stability

They have been engrossed in perpetrating provocations and posing threats to the DPRK but charge it with "provocations." This is another intolerable mockery of the DPRK.

The puppet forces should bear in mind that their sheer lies will not work in this bright world.

The prevailing situation indicates that they are keen to ignite a nuclear war in conclusion with the U.S. at any cost, justifying the war moves against the DPRK under the pretext of coping with "provocation" from it. The U.S. and south Korean warmongers are the arch criminals disturbing peace and escalating tension and war threat to the Korean Peninsula.

The DPRK is possessed of powerful nuclear deterrence capable of foiling the enemies' moves for a nuclear war at a strike and blowing up their strongholds.

If the U.S. and south Korean bellicose forces ignite a nuclear war despite the DPRK's repeated warnings, it will mobilize all its war deterrents and deal fatal blows at the provocateurs and thus achieve lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
