DPRK Servicepersons Enraged at U.S.-S. Korea Naval Maneuvers

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- The United States and the south Korean puppet group finally kicked off the DPRK-targeted large-scale joint naval maneuvers on October 10. The situation on the Korean Peninsula is now inching close to the uncontrollable phase due to the nuclear war maneuvers that involve huge armed forces, including a nuclear carrier, enough to fight a total war. As the voices denouncing the provocative saber-rattling have risen at home and abroad, the U.S. and south Korean war maniacs described the maneuvers as an "annual drill for rescuing victims". Such sophism has enraged all the servicepersons of the DPRK. Yu Chol, an officer of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, told KCNA: "Some days ago, they claimed that the maneuvers are a planned military offensive to pressurize the DPRK in a bid to deter its possible 'provocation' and lead it to 'changes' desired by them. But, they now describe the nuclear war game as a 'rescue drill'. This is just an intolerable insult to the DPRK people and a mockery of the international community." Choe Song Chun, an officer of the Korean People's Army, said: "The ongoing saber-rattling is more dangerous as it was launched right after the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group confirmed the 'tailored deterrence strategy', which is aimed at mounting a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK. Wherever U.S. nuclear-powered carriers go, its situation has been driven to the tension, leading to a war at the extreme case. That is why the appearance of this ill-famed ship George Washington on the Korean Peninsula can be regarded as a prelude to provocation of DPRK-targeted nuclear war. We, servicepersons, will promptly give a shower of dreadful fire to the aggressors if they show any sign of attack." |
