The cocoon production stations in Unchon, Samchon and Jaeryong honored their yearly plans at 150, 121 and 104 percent.

They applied quality organic compost to mulberry fields and channeled efforts into manuring and cultivation.

They, at the same time, put the breeding of young silkworms and silkworm raising on a scientific and technological basis according to different phases.

They made sure that silkworms were raised without distinction and cocoons gathered in good time by properly adjusting temperature and humidity and ensuring fresh air despite unfavorable weather conditions during summer and rainy season.

They are now making good preparations for cocoon production next year.
