Displayed in the venue of the show against the background of the large-size electronic picture depicting Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia were Kimjongilia flowers in full bloom and books about the flower presented to international flower shows.

Present at the opening ceremony of the show were figures of political and public circles and military and masses in the Maritime Territory and Vladivostok City.

The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said:

Kimjongilia is an immortal flower reflecting the unbounded reverence of progressive mankind for General Secretary Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the WPK.

Kim Jong Il was a peerlessly great man who made a great contribution to the Korean revolution and the accomplishment of the global cause of independence.

The socialist cause and the Songun revolutionary cause in the DPRK are sure to triumph as supreme leader Kim Jong Un is successfully carrying forward his cause.

The manager of the Pushkin Theatre said that he was enchanted by Kimjongilia out of his profound reverence for the peerlessly great man who turned the DPRK into a socialist country centred on the popular masses.

A commanding officer of the Pacific Fleet of Russia noted that Kimjongilia would be in full bloom all over the world for the exploits Kim Jong Il performed in the Far Eastern Region of Russia, adding that there are many beautiful flowers in the world but the flower which goes by the august name of the leader is found in the DPRK only.
