Leading newspapers on Friday brand in their commentaries the reckless remarks as a cynical ploy to evade the responsibility for the bedeviled north-south relations and tensions escalating on the Korean Peninsula and mislead the public opinion in a bid to pursue the confrontation policy at any cost.

Rodong Sinmun says it is the height of shamelessness for Ryu to grumble about "nuclear development" and the like in an attempt to shift the responsibility for the strained inter-Korean relations onto the DPRK.

The inter-Korean relations which have reached such a deplorable phase are attributable to the present south Korean ruling quarters' persistent pursuance of their confrontation policy defying unanimous denunciation at home and abroad. The case is same with Ryu's complaint about "endless criticism." The backbiting of Ryu only revealed his ignorance at home and abroad as he cannot properly judge the cause and consequences of undesirable phenomena.

He talked as if he would do something for mending the inter-Korean relations with a forced smile on his face, speaking volumes about "door of dialogue" and "cooperation." Is he entitled to utter something about dialogue and cooperation as he is blinded with the moves to realize the ambition for confrontation? It is really disgusting to hear the puppet group talk such rubbish.

Minju Joson says: "Genuine development" and "future of the nation" touted by Ryu Kil Jae, impudently advising the north "to make a right option", provoke a side-splitting laughter.
