Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps and the People's Action against War and for Realizing Peace in south Korea held the 1096th Wednesday rally in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul on October 16 in protest against Japan's moves for reinvasion. The speakers at the rally said that Japan is attempting to let its "Self-Defense Forces" advance overseas under the pretext of contingency on the Korean Peninsula. The Koreans can never tolerate Japan's moves to realize its scenario for reinvasion by promoting the legalization of the "right to collective self-defense", they added. A statement was read out at the rally. It denounced the Japanese government for shunning an apology and reparation for the past crimes and concealing and distorting the history of aggression. The U.S. backs such moves of Japan and south Korea keeps pace with them, it noted. The south Korean authorities, in particular, are taking the lead in the moves to embellish the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists, a serious crime, the statement said, demanding them stop such act at once. It urged the Japanese authorities to reflect on their past crimes and rescind at once their scenario for overseas aggression. |
