In the women's event, the April 25 Team defeated the Ponghwasan Team 4:3, the Myohyangsan Team beat the Kalmaegi Team 3:1 and the Sobaeksu Team trounced the Chongchongang Team 3:1.

On Wednesday, the April 25 Team overpowered the Myohyangsan Team 5:0 and the Team of the Ministry of Light Industry drew with the Pyongyang Team at 1:1 in the men's event.

In the women's event, the Mangyongbong Team beat the Amnokgang Team 2:1 and the Rimyongsu Team defeated the Hwangryongsan Team 2:0.
