Minju Joson Urges U.S. to Roll Back Its Hostile Policy towards DPRK
Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Some days ago U.S. Secretary of State Kerry blustered that the U.S. is ready for dialogue with the DPRK if the latter starts denuclearization first, and the former is ready to conclude a non-aggression treaty with the latter when its start of denuclearization becomes clear.

Minju Joson Saturday observes in a commentary in this regard:

The army and people of the DPRK dismiss the U.S. stand on the issue of the relations between the DPRK and the U.S. as nothing but a cock-and-bull story told by the psychopaths.

If the U.S. is truly willing to put an end to the history of mistrust and confrontation which has persisted on the Korean Peninsula, it should fully reexamine its hostile policy towards the DPRK and roll back it before urging Pyongyang to dismantle its nukes, the commentary says, and goes on:

Regretfully, the U.S. is unilaterally pressurizing the DPRK to dismantle its nukes, putting the hostile policy towards it on the shelf.

This indicates that the U.S. is pursuing its sinister aim to stifle the DPRK rather than working for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Even a mere child can easily understand that the DPRK cannot depend on a paper signed by the U.S. in order to protect the vital interests of the country.

What the U.S. should do urgently is not to seduce the DPRK with its poor gimmick but to get confidence from the DPRK by lifting the unreasonable measures against it.

This is the only way of mending the DPRK-U.S. ties.

The U.S. should respect its dialogue partner and sincerely opt for finding a solution to the matter. This is the message of the army and people of the DPRK to the U.S.
