The south Korean puppet regime is crying out for "adhering to the principle", creating impression that the DPRK is to blame for the bedeviled inter-Korean relations. But this is no more than a shameful artifice to deceive public at home and abroad.

Its acts of straining the inter-Korean relations, trumpeting about "theory of principle," are a natural product of its vicious policy of confrontation against reunification.

As soon as it took office, the puppet conservative group touted "confidence-building process" as its "policy toward the north", noisily advertising that it would do something for the improvement of the inter-Korean relations.

The group has worked overtly and covertly to turn the venues of dialogue and negotiations with the DPRK into theaters of confrontation after deeming it a "principle" of north-south relations to implement the ill-famed confrontation policy.

The puppet authorities' moves for escalating confrontation are unpardonable acts of treachery as they are aimed at repeating the catastrophic events that happened in the north-south relations for the past five years in order to follow in the footsteps of the Lee Myung Bak regime.

The past five years was a history of misfortune in which the cause of national reunification faced great difficulties and stern trials and not only south Korean people but all other Koreans were exposed to the threat of a war against the north.

The present situation of the inter-Korean relations urgently requires all Koreans in the north, south and overseas to turn out in a nationwide struggle to frustrate the moves of the puppet conservative group to escalate the confrontation against reunification.

The prospect of the inter-Korean relations and national reunification depends on how all the Koreans wage the struggle against those moves.

The historic north-south declarations are the only just guidelines to be held fast to by all Koreans in the efforts to mend the inter-Korean relations.
