S. Korean Military Authorities' Interference in Election Disclosed

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- It has been recently disclosed in south Korea that not only the Intelligence Service but the military authorities worked hard to build public opinion during the puppet presidential election, sparking off social uproar. According to a lawmaker from the opposition Democratic Party of south Korea on Oct. 15, agents of the Cyber Command of the puppet army built public opinion, posting on websites articles slandering candidates from opposition parties and supporting Park Geun Hye and the ruling party during the election campaign. It was reported that these agents were elite agents who received "citations" from the Defense Ministry for their "skilful" handling of military secrets and activities for psychological warfare. They committed such acts under the patronage of the puppet IS. In those days the Cyber Command received 4.5 billion won from the IS. The head of the command admitted that part of the funds for operations was from the IS's budget. Such being a hard reality, the puppet minister of Defense insisted that the budget of the Cyber Command was not included in the IS's budget. When the fact was disclosed, he let loose sheer sophism that in case part of the budget comes from the IS, it is military spending and there are cooperative relations with the IS, not instructive relations. It was disclosed that the military authorities cooperated with the IS, even receiving money from it at a time when the whole of south Korea is turning into a theatre of candlelight actions and people are enraged by the IS's illegal interference in the election. This is giving further momentum to the protest actions of south Koreans against the present conservative ruling forces. |
