Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Lectures, meetings and film shows took place in India, Iran, DR Congo, Guinea and Tunisia from October 4 to 12 to mark the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 87th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU). On display in their venues were photos documenting exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Films shown included Korean film "Monument to Party Founding". Balzor Singh Chauhan, chairman of the Indian Youth Group for the Study of Works of Comrade Kim Il Sung, said the WPK's development into a party which serves the people would be unthinkable without Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's noble outlook on the people as they founded the party and developed it. Nzemba Yangana, chairman of the Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo, said the exploits Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed in building the Juche-oriented party will shine long along with the WPK, which has won victory after victory under the wise leadership of First Secretary Kim Jong Un, another distinguished great man. The field chief of a construction site in Conakry City of Guinea said the Korean revolution would as ever demonstrate only victory under the leadership of the WPK, which inherited the tradition of the DIU. A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at an event in Tunisia. |
