Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Not only citizens of the DPRK but also many foreigners have visited the Fitness Center in Thongil Street, Pyongyang, expressing their deep admiration at it. In this regard, Choe Yong Gol, deputy manager of the Center, told KCNA: Members of international organization missions and foreign embassies here and their families and other foreign guests staying in the DPRK would visit this center, saying that it well shows supreme leader Kim Jong Un's outlook on the people. They praised the advantages of the socialist system in the country, noting it is hard to believe that ordinary working masses can enjoy at this modernly-equipped splendid center. And they gave impressions on the center, expressing how they envy the Korean people under such loving care. Following are some of the entries left by foreigners in the visitor's book at the center: "A very impressive health and fitness center for the people of the DPRK, with excellent equipment, being used. My next visit will spend a day here." (Prof. and Dr. Judith Mackay of the World Health Organization) "Now, when I have visited this Sports Center and found out how well it is equipped I wish I could visit more often. For the movement to be efficient it has to be carried out at least 3 times a week and I would enjoy to work out together with Korean friends." (Ews Noswald of Polish Embassy) "The Fitness Center in Thongil Street well shows the DPRK's deep care for the young people, the future and asset of the country. The DPRK is a model of the world as it will as ever pay deep attention to posterity." (Patrick Kuentzmann, secretary general of the France-Korea Friendship Association) |
