The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy carried "WPK shining with the august names of the peerlessly great men" and other articles illustrated with photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

An article titled "WPK, invincible and iron-willed party" said:

Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the WPK on October 8, 1997 marked a historic event of great significance in accomplishing the cause of building the Juche-oriented party and a thriving nation.

He comprehensively developed in depth the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung with his rare wisdom and through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

He was a prominent statesman and a master of leadership who developed the WPK into an invincible party and ushered in the new era of building a thriving nation on the land of the DPRK.

The great exploits he performed by leading the WPK with his outstanding idea, leadership art and noble virtues and bringing about an epoch-making turn in carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche will last forever.

Only victory and glory are in store for the Korean revolution advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, holding Kim Jong Il as eternal general secretary of the WPK.

In an article the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the formation of the DIU marked an event of great significance in founding and developing the WPK and the DPRK.
