The drill was aimed at airlifting forces, equipment and supplies for operations of landing units under the simulated conditions of attack on the areas of the DPRK from seas. Involved in the drill were the 501st brigade for supporting reinforcing forces belonging to the 19th support command of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces and a unit of the south Korean puppet marine corps for supporting the landing forces.

The warmongers staged the whole course of the drill including airlifting supplies from transport planes under the simulated wartime conditions. It was reported that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces staged such joint saber-rattling for the first time.

The unprecedented military exercise was staged for performing the duty for landing operations in the wake of the maneuvers conducted by the U.S. nuclear carrier in the East, South and West Seas of Korea for a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK. This is a clear indication that the warmongers' moves have reached a more reckless phase.

This grave situation goes to prove the hypocrisy of "dialogue" and "confidence" touted by the warmongers.
