S. Korean Regime's Moves to Disturb Investigation into IS's Case under Fire

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People on Tuesday editorially slammed the puppet regime for disturbing the investigation into the Intelligence Service (IS). The editorial referred to the fact that Yun Sok Yol, chief of the Ryoju branch office of the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office, disclosed on Monday that there was outside pressure on the investigation into the IS's case. The editorial went on: Jo Yong Gon, chief of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, opposed the view of the special investigation team on conducting an operation to arrest and search the IS personnel involved in the illegal interference in the election, afraid that the operation would help the opposition parties and they would use it for their political purpose. It is clear that this is not an individual's opposition. It is not a secret that Chongwadae is derailing the investigation into the IS's case. Park Geun Hye alleged that she did not get any help from the IS during the "presidential election" but one cannot but question her why she is disturbing the investigation into the case so persistently. If what Park said were true, she should have encouraged the investigation into the IS's case and establish discipline within it, taking this opportunity. Park, however, has persistently behaved quite contrary to this. Truth can never be covered up. She let the IS, the Defense Ministry and other power organs interfere in the election and fired the chiefs for investigation in a bid to disturb the investigation into it and hide the truth. Such practices put former American President Nixon into the shade. Whenever Park and Chongwadae found themselves in a predicament, they insisted they did nothing wrong, keeping silence, and cooked up cases to weather their crisis. Are they going to do the same? |
