Mongolian President's Visit to DPRK Welcomed
Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj is to arrive here Monday to pay a state visit to the DPRK at the invitation of Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly.

Papers here Monday in their editorials warmly welcome the friendship envoy of the Mongolian people coming to the DPRK carrying with him the friendly feelings towards the Korean people.

The DPRK-Mongolia friendship has steadily developed with significant events recorded in its history, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

President Kim Il Sung provided the fraternal relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and peoples and made great contributions to boosting them.

This is a significant year marking the 25th anniversary of the second visit to Mongolia by the President and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The two countries had joint significant celebrations of the anniversaries this year.

We are pleased that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Mongolia with a long history and tradition have favorably developed in various fields in recent years.

The Korean people will as ever make all efforts to boost these relations with the Mongolian people.

Minju Joson says the Korean people sincerely hope that the friendship envoys of Mongolia will make the current visit to the DPRK fruitful and spend happy and pleasant days here.
