The statement slammed the Seoul City Office for contemplating holding a public hearing in a sinister purpose to close the south Korean internet paper Jaju Minbo calling for independence, democracy and reunification.

Just are the activities of the paper as it has worked for the reunification of the country, desirous of achieving co-prosperity of the nation by implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Much upset by the increasing influence of the paper, the Park Geun Hye's "government" is brandishing a dagger to crack down the progressive medium. This is intolerable.

We will actively conduct a mass campaign to check its move to close Jaju Minbo.
