S. Korean Authorities' "Theory of Principle" Termed Theory of Confrontation
Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The inter-Korean relations now at a deadlock are an inevitable result of the anti-reunification moves of the south Korean puppet group which misused dialogue for escalating confrontation while crying out for maintaining the anachronistic "theory of principle", says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article.

The "theory of principle" was raised by traitor Lee Myung Bak throughout his tenure of office only to be cursed and denounced by the whole nation. It was branded as the theory of confrontation which plunged the inter-Korean relations into a complete deadlock, the article says, and goes on:

The present ruling forces of south Korea are doing huge damage to the inter-Korean relations, echoing the "maintenance of principle" called for by Lee Myung Bak.

No sooner had the present puppet chief executive taken office than she appointed die-hard confrontation maniacs bent on "cool-headed counteraction based on the principle" to the portfolios of the Ministry of Unification and other arms of the "government" handling the issue of inter-Korean relations.

She openly revealed her sinister intention to turn dialogue into a theatre for escalating confrontation, claiming that talks should be held on the "principle so far maintained by the south side" as regards the north-south dialogue and that the "theory of principle be abided by in approaching the north".

Slandering fellow countrymen even abroad, the south Korean puppet regime cried out for "halting the evil cycle of negotiations and aid" following "threat and provocation", contending that it is its consistent "principle toward the north".

The atmosphere for inter-Korean dialogue that was created by the DPRK's positive efforts was vitiated and the danger of war has increased. This is attributable to the moves of the puppet group for maintaining the "theory of principle."

All facts clearly prove that the "theory" is the intolerable theory of confrontation aimed at blocking inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation, fostering distrust and hostility and increasing the danger of a nuclear war.
