The conservative group is trying to shut down Jaju Minbo because its progressive information activities incurred the group's displeasure, it said.

If this land is dominated only by the assertions and theories of the conservative ruling party, it is quite impossible to realize the desire for independence, democracy and peaceful reunification, it noted.

We cannot remain a passive onlooker to the moves to close Jaju Minbo, it said, adding we will turn out in the campaign to defend the progressive media.

If the Seoul City Office files an administrative suit in the court to close Jaju Minbo, we will brand it as a servant of the heinous treacherous and anti-reunification conservative forces and launch a strong protest against it, the resolution stressed.

The real intention of the Park Geun Hye regime and the conservative forces is to obliterate the progressive forces, it said, calling upon the people of all social standings to fight against the frantic suppression.
