DPRK's Building of Highly Civilized Nation Introduced by Nigerian Organization
Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted an article titled "Highly Civilized Socialist Country" on its website on Oct. 21.

The DPRK is putting spurs to building a highly civilized country while building an economic power, the article said, and went on:

It is the intention of supreme leader Kim Jong Un to usher in the period of efflorescence of high civilization in the 21st century by energetically accelerating the construction of a highly civilized socialist country.

The DPRK has already reached a considerably high level in civilization.

It has become a manufacturer and launcher of satellites and equipped economic sectors with state-of-the-art technologies. The level of education in the DPRK can be judged by the high level of development of science and technology.

It is the firm will of the Workers' Party of Korea to fully provide all the Korean people with a highly civilized life in the new century by placing all fields on the level of a power with high civilization.

The universal compulsory 11 year education system has been replaced by the universal compulsory 12 year education system, free healthcare has been put on a higher level and a great progress made in the development of sports throughout the country.

People's conditions for cultural life are improving as the days go by as required by the new century and the growing desire of the people as evidenced by the facts that new dwelling houses and modern facilities for cultural and emotional life are springing up one after another in Pyongyang and other cities and rural areas.

The DPRK has a bright prospect for enabling its people to enjoy the most civilized life.
