New Dwelling Houses Built in Kosan Fruit Farm
Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- An event of moving into new houses took place in the Kosan Fruit Farm in Kangwon Province, the DPRK.

The Construction Shock Brigade 618 has finished building the 510 houses in a matter of one year.

Each of the white tile-roofed houses has two or three living rooms and a storehouse and a cage.

Yu Hwang Chol, an official in charge of stock-breeding of the farm, told KCNA:

Kosan area has remarkably changed in a few years.

My family, too, moved into a new house.

This event makes me sorely miss leader Kim Jong Il, who visited the farm two years ago to encourage us to boost the fruit production.

I will devote all my efforts to further developing the cyclic production system between fruit and stock farming, so as to uphold the leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un with loyalty, true to the behest of Kim Jong Il.

Jong Il Bom, a worker of the farm, said:

Kosan area has turned into one of the country's major fruit producers, with modern dwelling houses standing in a row at the foot of the mountain.

Kim Ju Song, a worker, said:

My family members are very pleased to have a new house.

All the people in the Kosan area are willing to repay the deep concern of the Workers' Party of Korea for the farm with increased fruit production.
