Rodong Sinmun Dismisses "Confidence-Building Process" as Hypocritical
Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article discloses the hypocritical and anti-reunification nature of the "confidence-building process", the south Korean puppet ruling quarters' "policy towards the north."

The "confidence-building process" is a brigandish confrontation policy aimed at forcing the DPRK to unilaterally dismantle its nukes in disregard of the essence of the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and a dangerous war policy concealing the wicked ambition for invading the north under the smokescreen of "confidence", the article says, and goes on:

Those maniacs who get frantic with the moves to ignite a nuclear war against the north while ceaselessly introducing nuclear strike means into the Korean Peninsula are crying out for the north's dismantling of nukes and trumpeting about "confidence-building" premised on it. This is the height of impudence and sheer sophism of a highway robber.

The south Korean puppet authorities are speaking ill of the strategic line of the DPRK and persistently kicking up a nuclear campaign against the DPRK, far from making efforts to stop the anti-DPRK war moves in collusion with the U.S. and defuse the crisis of the inter-Korean relations. This indicates that they only seek a sinister aim to realize the ambition of confrontation of the social systems, utterly indifferent to the destiny of the nation.

Their confrontation policy veiled with the word "confidence" is only doing tremendous harm to the reconciliation and unity of the nation and reunification of the country.

They are now making desperate efforts to mislead the public opinion by justifying their confrontation policy and evading the responsibility for the deterioration of the north-south relations. However, all Koreans and the fair-minded world public see through the hypocritical and anti-reunification nature of the above-said process and strongly denounce it.
