Historic Relics in Kaesong, DPRK Introduced by Nigerian Organization
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted an article titled "Historic Relics in Kaesong, World Cultural Heritages" on its website on October 28.

The article recalled that UNESCO at the 37th meeting of its World Heritage Committee held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia decided to register historic relics in Kaesong, DPRK as world heritages.

It introduced in detail historic relics in Kaesong including Mausoleum of King Wang Kon, Founder of Koryo, Mausoleum of King Kongmin, Kaesong Nam Gate, Kaesong Chomsongdae (Astronomical Observatory) and Koryo Sungkyunkwan Academy which were registered as world cultural heritages.

The relics in Kaesong registered this time are of great historical and cultural value.

This was proved by the decision of the 37th meeting of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO attended by delegates and guests from many countries.

The participants in the meeting appreciated the relics in Kaesong as marvelous and were greatly pleased with the registration of them as world cultural heritages.
