The guests laid a bouquet before the statue of leader Kim Jong Il on the campus and paid tribute to him.

At the end of the visit to the library the head of the delegation said:

The rise and fall of a country depends on the young people. The DPRK is attaching importance to education.

This library has modern equipment.

I wish the university greater success in its education.

The delegation visited the truce village of Panmunjom on Sunday.

The guests visited the monument to President Kim Il Sung's signature. The monument conveys the feats of the President, who worked heart and soul for the reunification of the country.

They went round the hall where the armistice talks took place, the hall where the armistice agreement was signed and Panmun Pavilion, being briefed on the fact that the army and people of the DPRK beat back the invasion by the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces and won a shining victory.

The delegation also visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum.
