Withdrawal of Step to Stamp Out Teachers Union Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Members of the Teachers Union of south Korea who had been dismissed due to the unreasonable action of the puppet group held a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday demanding the withdrawal of the fascist repressive step.

They said that the teachers whom the authorities fired are members of the union who struggled for democracy against irregularities and corruption at schools.

They declared that if the regime does not rescind the step for stamping out the union, they would carry on their actions against the dictatorial regime.

They urged the authorities to stop the suppression of the union and force the minister of Employment and Labor and the minister of Education to step down.
