S. Korean Paper Slams "Saenuri Party" for Covering Up Truth about Illegal Acts
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore on Saturday carried an editorial criticizing the "Saenuri Party" for trying to cover up the truth behind the illegal interference of the Intelligence Service (IS) in the election.

It said:

The parliamentary spokesman from the "Saenuri Party" on Friday alleged that the Democratic Party waged an illegal election campaign by setting in motion the Government Employees' Union (GEU) to organizationally support the opposition party's candidate during the "presidential election".

The secretary general and other heavyweights of the ruling party joined in urging the prosecution to immediately start investigation into the campaign.

The ruling party's moves are a typical red herring operation to cover up the truth behind the IS's interference in the election.

What matters now is that the IS, the cyber command and other power bodies interfered in the election in an organized manner, sparking off uproar.

A particular mention should be made of the fact that Park Geun Hye sent her special envoy to the general meeting of the GEU to congratulate it in a bid to garner votes from the government employees prior to the election last year. It is very disgusting for her to talk about illegality now.

The call for investigation into the GEU was prompted by the ruling party's attempt to divert elsewhere public criticism of the IS's illegal acts and stamp out the progressive forces.

The situation is becoming more complicated as Chongwadae and the ruling party are employing a poor trick to tide over their crisis.
