Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Friendly organizations of Russia and Peru vehemently denounced the south Korean puppet conservative group for its moves to forcibly dissolve the Unified Progressive Party (UPP). The Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia said in a statement on October 28: To disband the UPP by linking it with the DPRK clearly indicates part of the mean and fascist political farce of the present south Korean authorities to mercilessly crack down on even legitimate political parties and organizations in a bid to escalate confrontation with fellow countrymen and stay in power for an indefinite period. We bitterly condemn the south Korean authorities for their moves to forcibly dissolve the UPP, regarding them as a wholesale crackdown upon the pro-reunification patriotic forces. The Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship in an article posted on its website on October 27 noted that the moves of the south Korean ultra-right reactionary forces to disband the UPP clearly show once again who truly wants reunification and democracy. We would like to question those ultra-right reactionary forces of south Korea keen to forcibly disorganize the UPP what type society the south Korean society is as the wishes of all Koreans to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country through dialogue after driving foreign forces out of south Korea are trampled down and the freedom of political activities of political parties and organizations is not guaranteed. |
