South Korean Regime's Crackdown upon Progressive Party Rapped in Benin, Bulgaria
|
|
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Political parties of Benin and Bulgaria issued statements on October 28 and 29 accusing the south Korean puppet group of suppressing a progressive political party. The Socialist Party of Benin branded the south Korean puppet group's moves to forcibly disband the Unified Progressive Party (UPP), a legitimate political party, as an unprecedented fascist action. It went on: The progressive political parties are being incriminated and suppressed and a campaign is being kicked up to forcibly disband them in south Korea. What does it show? This goes to prove that south Korea today is a political doldrums and society under the reign of fascism where the political freedom and right are ruthlessly violated. We appeal to all the progressive political parties of the world which set store by democracy and justice to become increasingly vocal condemning the south Korean conservative group's moves to disband the UPP. The Bulgarian Communists Union expressed great concern about the evermore undisguised crackdown upon the progressive party desirous of justice and truth in south Korea. It went on: The south Korean authorities are pursuing confrontation with compatriots in the north, while kowtowing to the U.S., their master. With no rhetoric can they justify this behavior. This indicates that they are denying the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration which indicate the way of achieving national reconciliation and reunification. We vehemently assail the moves of the south Korean authorities to forcibly disband the UPP and demand they immediately stop their crackdown upon the progressive parties contrary to democracy. |
