Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Thai organizations made public statements on October 30 in denunciation of the south Korean conservative group for moving to forcibly dissolve the Unified Progressive Party (UPP). The Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand said that south Korea is going back to the period of dictatorial rule when fascism and illegality were rampant, denouncing the moves of the conservative ruling forces and the "Saenuri Party" to disband the UPP. It went on: South Koreans should not remain a passive onlooker to the moves but actively combat them. Fair world public valuing democracy and justice has to continue the push to decisively check them. The Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association noted that south Korea has now turned into a political tundra of fascism where political freedom and rights of people are ruthlessly violated. Political parties in any country are guaranteed freedom of activities and left-wing political parties are legitimately active even in capitalist countries in the West, it said. It appealed to the progressives in the world loving democracy and justice to prevent the south Korean conservative forces from stamping out the UPP. |
