Reception Given for Japanese Guests
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The DPRK-Japan Friendship Association hosted a reception at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on Tuesday in honor of Kanji Inoki, member of the House of Councilors of Japan, and his party and the delegation of the Nippon Sport Science University.

Present there on invitation were Kanji Inoki who is also chief director of the Sports Peace Community Association, a specified non-profit undertaking corporation of Japan, and his party, and members of the delegation headed by Managing Director Kenshiro Matsunami.

Present there were Kim Yong Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who is advisor to the association, Kim Song Nam, vice-department director of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Pyong Sik, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Sin Tong Gyu, rector of Korea University of Physical Education, and officials concerned.

Speeches were made there.

Kim Yong Il hailed the conclusion of the agreement on the establishment of the Pyongyang representative office between the association and the Sports Peace Community Association, a specified non-profit undertaking corporation of Japan.

He underscored the will to boost the contact and exchange with Japanese figures in the future.

Kenshiro Matsunami wished Marshal Kim Jong Un good health.

He expressed hope that the delegation's visit to the DPRK would mark an occasion in establishing friendly relations between Japan and the DPRK.
