S. Korean Authorities' Moves to Disband UPP under Fire by Swiss, French Organizations
|
|
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Swiss and French organizations made public statements on October 28 and 30 denouncing the south Korean authorities for moving to forcibly dissolve a progressive political party. The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in their joint statement said: To forcibly disorganize the Unified Progressive Party (UPP) is a criminal fascist violence. The south Korean puppet conservative group is now working hard to revive the fascist "yusin" dictatorship. The situation points to human rights abuses in south Korea, not in the DPRK. We strongly condemn the south Korean conservative forces for their criminal fascist crackdown to forcibly dissolve the UPP. The Anti-Imperialist Front of France said that free activities of political parties have become the most universal practices of democracy in each country and to deny it is regarded as an anachronistic fascist act, demanding the south Korean conservative group stop at once the suppression of the UPP. |
