Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, released a statement titled "Let us resolutely foil the moves of the south Korean puppet group to stamp out progressive party and patriotic organizations" on Nov. 1. The statement said the puppet group is working hard to forcibly dissolve the Unified Progressive Party (UPP) by labeling it as "the forces following the north." This suppression campaign is a violent politically-motivated terrorism aimed to remain in office for a long period by eliminating progressive forces from the political arena and dampening the desire of south Koreans for independence, democracy and reunification, it held. The puppet group is also keen to eliminate the Teachers Union, legitimate trade union, and Jaju Minbo, progressive paper, by attaching the label of "forces following the north" to them, the statement noted, and went on: The situation clearly proves that the puppet conservative group consists of fascist gangsters and confrontation maniacs who inherited the fascist temperament from the preceding dictators. All the Koreans in the north, south and overseas should turn out as one in actions to frustrate the fascist plots and suppression campaign of the puppet group that is keen on sycophancy toward the U.S. and bringing misfortune and disaster to the nation, and its moves to escalate confrontation with the fellow countrymen. The group of traitors is bound to meet stern punishment of history as it keeps suppressing patriotic organizations and people including UPP despite unanimous protest and denunciation by all the Koreans. It had better behave itself, facing up to the trend of the times. |
