Int'l Body Demands Guarantee of Legal Status of Jongyojo
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A workers delegation of the Governing Body of the International Labor Organization issued a statement denouncing the south Korean puppet regime for cracking down on the Teachers Union (Jongyojo), according to Yonhap News of south Korea on Nov. 2.

The statement accused the south Korean regime of making Jongyojo "the trade union outside law" in disregard of the repeated recommendations of the International Labor Organization that the trade union should decide the union membership of those dismissed.

The Park Geun Hye regime is trampling down the basic right of the teachers, it said, urging the south Korean authorities to immediately fulfill their obligation under international law and guarantee the legal status of Jongyojo.

It called upon the member nations of the International Labor Organization to put pressure on the south Korean authorities.
