The book teaches English learners how to translate Korean sentences into English correctly, by way of putting sentences to be translated and key words for translation and comparing metaphrastic style with good correct translation.

It also shows the way of translation in consideration of vocabulary, grammar, style, situation, context, background of linguistic culture and other aspects.

Its author, People's Scientist Min Yong Hwa of Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies, said in the book that to find out one's weak points after translating Korean sentences into English by oneself is a good way to improve one's ability of translation. And he advised readers to pay attention to acquiring English equivalents and knowledge about construction of English sentences.
