DPRK Acrobats Win Top Prize at Wuqiao Int'l Acrobatic Festival
Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- DPRK acrobats proved successful at the 14th Wuqiao International Acrobatic Festival.

The festival held in Hebei Province of China between October 26 and November 3 brought together acrobats from 18 countries including the DPRK, Germany, Russia, Mexico, the U.S., Argentina, Ukraine, France and Cuba.

The DPRK physical acrobatics "Fly Higher" won the top prize, Gold Lion Prize and its another physical acrobatics "Horizontal Bar and Stunt on Moving Swing" received Silver Lion Prize.

The members of the organizing committee of the festival and its jury and spectators were unsparing in their praises, congratulating the DPRK acrobats on their successful performance.

The vice-director of the Cultural Department in Hebei Province said voices praising DPRK acrobatics were heard from all parts of the province, adding this is clear proof that the Sino-DPRK friendship provided by Chairman Mao Zedong and President Kim Il Sung is unbreakable.

The vice-chairman of the Chinese Acrobats Association had this to say: This time DPRK acrobatic pieces received Gold Lion Prize and Silver Lion Prize by bringing the festival to the climax. Fertile soil is sure to yield good fruits. The fertile soil is leader Kim Jong Il's idea of creating Juche-oriented acrobatics.
