S. Korean Regime's Crackdown on Progressive Party Rapped in Indonesia
|
|
Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The Pioneer Party of Indonesia and the Indonesia-Korea Association for Friendship and Cultural Exchange in a joint statement on Nov. 2 denounced the south Korean conservative regime for working hard to dissolve the Unified Progressive Party (UPP). It said: The present conservative ruling forces and the "Saenuri Party" of south Korea are staging a campaign to forcibly dissolve UPP on charges that it is "following the north and violating the constitution" though it has conducted legal activities since it came into being aspiring after justice and truth and reflecting the will and wishes of the working people. This indicates that the conservative forces are desperately seeking to lay a foundation for their long-term office by eliminating the progressive forces and weakening the forces for democratic reforms and reunification. We will wage a positive movement against the moves to forcibly disband UPP while paying due attention to the serious development in south Korea. |
