Present there were officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, students and compatriots in Kyoto City.

They watched a video showing noteworthy events that took place in the movement for Korea's reunification including the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration in 2000 and the October 4 declaration in 2007.

The speakers expressed ardent desire for the country's reunification and said that it should be achieved at an early date by pooling the efforts of the Koreans in the idea of "By our nation itself".

Then, there was an art performance on the theme of the country's reunification.
