Pak Pong Ju, Choe Thae Bok, Vice-Premier Kim Yong Jin, officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and officials concerned met with the participants.

They congratulated the participants who came to the meeting with the pride of having achieved great successes in developing the nation's science and technology through a drive for pushing back the frontiers of the latest science true to the party's line of attaching importance to science and technology and made contributions to the building of an economic power.

They stressed the need for the scientists and technicians to bear in mind the warm love and trust shown for them by supreme leader Kim Jong Un and intensify the movement for industrial revolution in the new century and thus contribute to putting the national economy on a Juche-oriented, modern and scientific basis.
