Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- Danish and Italian figures released statements on November 1 to condemn the south Korean puppet group's fascist suppression of the progressive forces. Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, said that the south Korean authorities' brutal suppression of the progressive political party and organizations is aimed at violating genuine democracy and stifling progressive forces. He went on: This is not a simple issue of a political party, organization and personal figures but a serious one concerning the south Korean people's political freedom and democratic rights. I demand the south Korean regime stop the suppression of the progressive forces at once and guarantee freedom of all political parties and organizations. A member of the Italian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association noted that the south Korean reactionaries' tyrannical action is designed to benumb the consciousness of independence of the popular masses under the signboard of "democracy", adding that it is an act of cruelly trampling down the will of all Koreans to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country. |
