President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il visited Munchon City several times, giving specific instructions to bring about a turn in the work of the city including production, construction and the improvement of the standard of people's living and wisely led the drive to carry them out.

The mosaics erected at the Songjin Fireproof Material Factory and the Kubin Stockbreeding Cooperative Farm in Pyongyang depict Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il visualizing a rosy future of Juche Korea on Mt. Paektu.

Ceremonies for unveiling the mosaics were held at the relevant units.
