Kim Jin Thae, lawmaker from the "Saenuri Party", threatened with crackdown those who participated in the meeting held in Paris for denouncing the illegal interference of the Intelligence Service (IS) in the election, the article said.

He openly clamored about retaliation, blustering that he would make them pay a very high price and let the Ministry of Justice submit photos of the participants and evidence to the Constitutional Court, it noted.

Threatening people who expressed their political opinions on the case of the IS can only be seen under the dictatorial rule, it charged.

Kim Jin Thae revealed his attempt to link the meeting with the issue of disbanding the Unified Progressive Party, it said, adding he was the first to call for judgment on disbanding the party over its programme.

He should make an apology to compatriots and other people, though belatedly, it noted.
