Rodong Sinmun Calls for Checking Revival of "Yusin" Dictatorship
Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- Many years have passed since the end of the "yusin" dictatorship in south Korea. But the era of such nightmare is coming back there, a very ill-boding development, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article.

Looking back on history, after his seizure of power at the point of bayonet under the backstage manipulation of the U.S. the "yusin" dictator declared anti-communism as a "state policy," blustering that his final goal was to "liquidate pro-communists." He facilitated the fascistization of society, turning the whole of south Korea into a veritable hell and prison without bars. The "yusin" dictator, who earned an ill-fame as a fascist hangman without an equal, left no means untried to dampen the desire of the people and seek long-term office.

As soon as she came to power, the present chief executive copied the ruling methods of the "yusin" dictator, the article notes, and goes on:

The puppet conservative group employed sleight of hand to get rid of the crisis caused by the case of the Intelligence Service's (IS) interference in the "presidential" election, while crying out for "stop to partisan strife" and "people's living." At the same time, it passed a motion calling for judgment aimed to disorganize the Unified Progressive Party through the puppet State Council meeting under the pretext of "preserving the nature."

The authorities are also shouting themselves hoarse for "preserving the basic order of liberal democracy."

The case of the IS's interference in the election, the fabrication of the attempted rebellion and the resultant frantic racket for "eliminating the forces following the north" are sparking off bitter rebuff and protest among south Koreans from all walks of life. These are just a few typical examples proving that south Korean society has returned to the erstwhile "yusin" dictatorial system.

The history of shuddering fascist dictatorship should never be allowed to repeat itself in south Korea. Absolutely unpardonable are the puppet forces intensifying their fascist dictatorial rule, swimming against the trend of the times toward independence, democracy and reunification and against the south Koreans' desire.
