North-South Ties Can Never Improve As Long As S. Korean Regime Clings to "Theory of Adhering to Principle"
Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The north-south ties can never thaw as long as the south Korean puppet regime clings to the "theory of adhering to principle", says a commentator's article of Rodong Sinmun Thursday.

It is self-contradictory for the regime to openly speak of "adhering to principle" while trumpeting about "the process of building confidence on the Korean Peninsula", the article says, and goes on:

The principle to be adhered to by the north and the south is the three principles of national reunification--independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity--and the idea of "By our nation itself" clarified in the historic June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, great reunification programmes in the new century.

The three principles and the idea are the only common principles to be held fast to by the north and the south and there can never be any other principle away from them.

If the south Korean authorities have true intent to build confidence and improve the relations with the north, they should not cling to the absurd "theory of adhering to principle" but opt for implementing the north-south joint declarations as soon as possible as desired by all the fellow countrymen in the north and the south and abroad.

The "theory of adhering to principle" will never work on anyone and will bring only a shameful ruin.

Should the puppet regime keep clinging to the "theory of adhering to principle" defying the warnings of the DPRK and denunciation at home and abroad, it can never be able to evade the miserable end and curses by the history and nation.
