Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the DR Congo and chairman of the DR Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, said this at the inaugural ceremony of the DR Congo Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il held on November 6.

He said:

Humankind will soon commemorate the second anniversary of the demise of Kim Jong Il, who made an immortal contribution to accomplishing the cause of global independence.

He developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung into the guiding idea in the era of independence through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities and thus provided the revolutionary people struggling for justice and truth with a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon.

He turned the DPRK into an invincible socialist power and helped the world progressive people dynamically step up the building of new society free from exploitation and oppression with firm faith in the Juche idea.

The immortal exploits performed by him on behalf of the era and history will shine long along with the cause of global independence.

We pay high tribute to Kim Jong Il, a genius of thought and theory, and prominent statesman.

Progressive humankind will steadily advance along the road of Juche and independence indicated by him.
